While our hands are busy caring for the 500 residents at Kandhauli, our hearts are focused on the thousands of cows still suffering across the country. We believe that saving a cow requires more than just a sanctuary — it requires a change in the law and a shift in government action. We refuse to be silent witnesses to the agony caused by Anna Pratha and the lethal use of razor wires.
The Bhoorishringa Foundation has taken the struggle for Gau Mata to the highest offices of the land. We have formally reached out to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Chief Minister’s Office (UP), and the District Magistrates (DMs) of every district in Bundelkhand.
Our mission is clear:
Demand a permanent ban on the use of razor wires in agricultural fields.
Seek government intervention in the crisis of abandoned cattle (Anna Pratha).
Ensure that the laws are implemented on the ground — not just on paper.
