Across our land, the male Gauvansh is too often seen as a burden. Abandoned by owners and neglected by society, these noble beings face a tragic fate — many meet an untimely end in road accidents or the dark reality of slaughterhouses. Even in the safety of most Gaushalas, they are often confined to small, cramped spaces, living out their lives without purpose or joy.

At Shri Shyam Sunder Gaushala, we believe every life has a divine purpose. We don't just "keep" male calves — we honor them. Here, the male Gauvansh is given an equal opportunity to live a natural, healthy life. Instead of being viewed as a liability, they are trained to become the backbone of our sanctuary.
Through patient care and proper nutrition, we are developing our calves into strong bulls and bullocks. Today, several pairs are already tilling our soil — their strength and spirit once again contributing to the earth.
A movement to replace the roar of machinery with the steady, rhythmic strength of the bullock. A tractor may be fast — but it cannot heal the soil. By reintroducing bullocks into our farming, we are restoring the health of our fields and the glory of our heritage.
We have committed to a farm free from harmful chemicals and poisons. Every grain grown here is a testament to a cycle of life that respects the animal, the farmer, and the consumer. We are not just farming — we are returning to our roots.
